Men's 1972 Schwinn "Speedster." This
rare bicycle was built at Schwinn's famous Chicago, IL.
(USA) plant in
November 1972, serial # LH-++++++++.
Then sold new at "Racine Cycle Shop," located in Racine, WI. Factory chrome 26 inch
steel wheels
mounted with a pair of near-new S-6 black-wall tires.
This 38 year old bike is difficult to find, especially in a coaster brake
version. Equipped with full-sized
chrome plated fenders and a factory weld-on kickstand. Original green Schwinn grips and Schwinn seat, this is a
bicycle you'll want to keep for years to come. We've just refurbished
this bike from the ground up, even the bearings have been freshly cleaned
and re-packed with new grease. This unmolested Schwinn Speedster is
the nicest we have ever seen, obviously stored indoors. If you can find one
in better condition, better buy it! Schwinn's of today are manufactured in China.
