1971 Schwinn "Continental" men's 10 speed bicycle. Just refurbished, tuned up and ready to ride. Manufactured at Schwinn's Chicago, Ill. (USA) plant in August of 1971—serial number, HG-++++++. The 24 inch "Sierra Brown" steel frame has tubular forks and a factory weld-on rattle-proof kickstand. Center-pull Dia-Compe alloy brakes, front and rear. Alloy handlebars, Schwinn alloy neck (stem) and factory alloy safety levers. The bars are wrapped in new black tape. Chrome 27 inch wheels are mounted with a pair of new gum wall tires. Shift the 10 speed gears via the twin, stem-mounted chrome Schwinn shifters. Chrome 1 piece crank, derailleur's are top quality "Schwinn Approved." Factory and original black Schwinn seat. This bike was sold new at "Westlake Cyclery" in Westlake Village, Calif.
