
1971 Schwinn "Continental" 10 speed bicycle. This great bike was manufactured at Schwinn's Chicago, Illinois (USA) plant in August 1971—serial number, HG-++++++. The "Burgundy" colored bicycle is equipped with center-pull brakes, front and rear and the factory weld-on kickstand. Schwinn Approved "safety levers" or "suicide levers." The chrome 27 inch wheels are mounted with new gum-wall tires. Shift the 10 speed gears via the twin, stem-mounted chrome shifters. Derailleur's are top quality "Schwinn Approved." The alloy handlebar and stem are factory Schwinn Approved. The black handlebar tape is new and recently applied. The black seat is an up-grade to a comfortable "Trek." This classic Schwinn road bike has just been refurbished. Schwinn's of today are manufactured in China. Sorry no shipping, local pick up and purchase only.
