1973 women's Schwinn "Collegiate": Frame and Forks. This re-buildable frame, serial # JJ-******** was built in Chicago, IL. in September 1973. The "Kool Yellow" bicycle frame had 26 inch wheels and fenders with a 5 speed rear hub. What you see is what you get. Original steel, American made Schwinn frame with attached forged forks, Chicago head badge with factory decals. Forks are still attached with original bearings still in place. Frame and forks are straight. Frame has all the original and factory tabs and brackets. A great starting place and project to build your own American made Schwinn bicycle! Schwinn's of today are manufactured in China. Sorry no shipping, local pick up and purchase only.
