1974 women's Schwinn "Breeze." This
rare "kool yellow" bicycle was built at Schwinn's famous Chicago, IL.
(USA) plant in
June of 1974, serial # FK-++++++++.
Schwinn's women's version of the highly sought after "Speedster" /
"Racer," the
"Breeze" has become extremely difficult to find in the coaster model.
Now 35 years old the bike has factory chrome 26 inch wheels
mounted with a pair of original Schwinn-label black wall (S-6) tires.
The original Schwinn grips, black Schwinn seat, a new pair of pedals and a
factory weld-on kickstand. This
yellow bicycle
has been refurbished and tuned-up. Even the bearings have been re-packed! Equipped with coaster
brakes and the full-sized
factory chrome fenders, this bike is a pleasure to ride, and possibly one of
the best built by Schwinn. Schwinn's of today are manufactured in China.
