An original men's Schwinn "Suburban" 10 speed bicycle. Just refurbished, tuned-up and ready to ride! This classic bike was built at Schwinn's famous Chicago, IL. (USA) plant in August of 1978, serial # HP-++++++++. Equipped with the popular Shimano "Positron" (FF / Front Freewheel) system which allows the rider to shift each of the 10 speeds while coasting, pedaling or even walking the bike. Original and factory "sky blue" paint. Chrome 27 inch Schwinn wheels are mounted with a pair of gum-wall (27 X 1 1/4) tires. Easy to ride, factory equipped with up-right Schwinn handlebars and twin stem-mounted alloy shifters. Comfortable black Schwinn (approved) seat and matching Schwinn grips. Front and rear hand brakes with a factory chrome plated weld-on kickstand. This 32 year old bike has full-sized double-braced pin striped fenders.
