men's Schwinn "Suburban"
10 speed bicycle. Just refurbished, tuned-up and ready to ride! This
classic bike was built at Schwinn's famous Chicago, IL.
(USA) plant in
June of 1979, serial # FQ-++++++++.
Equipped with the popular Shimano "Positron" (FF / Front Freewheel) system
which allows the rider to shift each of the 10 speeds while coasting,
pedaling
or
even walking the bike. Original and factory "frosty blue" paint
and all the factory decals. Chrome 27 inch Schwinn wheels are mounted with a pair of
near-new gum wall (27 X 1 1/4) tires.
Easy to ride, factory equipped with up-right tourist-style Schwinn handlebars and
twin stem-mounted alloy shifters.
Comfortable black Schwinn (approved) seat and matching Schwinn grips. Front and rear hand brakes with a
factory chrome plated weld-on kickstand. This 22 inch bike has full-sized
double-braced pin striped fenders. Sold new at "Bellflower Bike Shop" in
Bellflower, CA. One of the nicest Suburban's we've ever had! Perfect for
commuting or running simple errands anywhere in town. Schwinn's of today are
manufactured in China.
