Woman's Ross (USA) "Eurotour" 5 speed bicycle. Manufactured in Allentown, PA. (USA), this late 1970s bicycle has been completely refurbished and ready to ride. Full-sized chrome steel fenders, a new black seat. Comfortable black and grey grips. Near-new 26 inch gum-wall tires are mounted on chrome steel wheels. Stop quick with front and rear Shimano hand brakes. A strong "lugged" frame with classic up-right style chrome handlebars. All the factory and original decals and reflectors. Equipped with the popular Shimano "Positron" (FF / Front Freewheel) system which allows the rider to shift each of the 5 speeds while coasting, pedaling or even walking the bike! This bicycle was sold new at "Pedal and Spoke Bike Shop" in Aurora, IL. Ross bikes have become extremely rare on the west coast and becoming scarce everywhere else too. They were arguably one of the best American built bicycles of their day. Ross stopped manufacturing bicycles in 1987 and in 1989 closed their doors forever.
