A men's 3 speed Ross "Europa 3" bicycle. Just refurbished from the ground up, this classic bike has a quality Shimano 3 speed hub, with a handy thumb operated shifter. A nice comfortable black seat with matching black grips. Steel painted full-sized fenders. A new set of 26 inch black-wall tires are mounted on chrome wheels. A new pair of pedals are attached to the chrome crank. Stop quick with front and rear hand brakes. A strong "lugged" frame design and everything works like a charm. Ross Bicycles moved to their last manufacturing plant in Allentown, PA. (USA), in the early 70s. This model was built in New York, prior to that time and sold new at "George's Bicycle" in Garden City, IN. Ross bicycles are extremely rare on the west coast and becoming scarce everywhere else too. They were arguably one of the best American built bicycles of their day. Ross stopped manufacturing bicycles in 1987 and closed their doors forever in 1989.
