How much is your used bicycle worth?
PLEASE READ: Please, no phone, "blind" or free appraisals. No "ball-park" guesses on your bicycles' value. Please do not call and ask "how much did you sell yours for...?" If you live outside of southern California, phone your local bike shop for the value of your used bicycle. We will not give free, blind or guess values on your bicycle. If it is important you receive an honest appraisal on your bicycle, based on values in southern California, the cost is $20. If its not important and you wish only for a guess, ball-park idea etc., please phone a friend or relative instead. If you live in Texas, New York, Georgia, Ohio, Michigan or one of the other 49 states outside of southern California, the value of your bicycle in your area of the United States is not something we can help you with. Phone a bicycle shop in your area and ask them for a value. Or phone and or ask a friend, neighbor or relative.
If you need warrantee, manufacture or recall information, bicycle serial number data, please contact your bicycle dealer. Murray, Ross and several other American bicycle manufactures are no longer in business. SoCalBicycles is not a dealer for Murray, Ross or Huffy bicycles. For Huffy bicycle information please contact Huffy, they are listed on the Internet. If you have any questions regarding these manufactures, please check with your local bicycle shop.
We will be happy to do an honest appraisal on the value of your bicycle. Keep in mind, our appraisal's are based on the information and photographs submitted by you. In addition, the value of your bike is also based on our market in southern California—bike pricing in your area of the country may differ greatly!
Email 5 or more digital photos showing the entire bike with some close-up images. We'll need to know the make and model. Wheel size, and gearing information. Does it shift? Are the tires holding air? What is the paint condition? Does the bike have any rust? We do not work with mountain bikes, BMX bikes nor pre-1960's classics. Keep in mind, the more information you supply, the more accurate our appraisal. Not being able to inspect your bike in person, means we can not assume or guess regarding your bicycle's condition, road worthiness and so on. Cost for our professional (retail value) appraisal is $20, payable with PayPal (Visa, MasterCard, Discover card and many others). Click on the "Buy Now" button below. We are unable to give you a value on your bicycle just because your bike looks like ours. All of our used bikes have been completely refurbished, and sometimes rebuilt, in need of no parts or repairs. Our appraisal is based on our own opinion on the retail value of your bicycle in our part of the United States (Riverside, CA.). These are not trade-in nor wholesale values. If we are unable to give you an appraisal price, we will promptly issue you a full PayPal refund.

and model of bicycle is a must! Year and age if possible. Was it
manufactured in the USA?
Wheel
size (24, 26, 27 etc.) and tire condition. Are the tires flat?
Does your bicycle
have gears or a derailleur? Can it be shifted and do all gears function?
What is the derailleur or hub brand or manufacture name?
Hand
brakes or coaster brakes? Do they work? Missing any parts?
What is the seat condition? Any tears, rips or damage?
Any
loose, damaged or missing spokes? Are the wheels true or bent? Are they
rusty?
We do not appraise mountain bikes or BMX bikes.
